On Wednesday the Bennett-Lapid government officially fell as the Knesset voted to dissolve and new elections were scheduled for November 1.

On this week’s show, Gadi Taub and I discussed the causes for the government’s downfall, and what to expect from interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid, (aka “Postmodern Empty-Suit Man”).

We used the Dobbs’ decision as a means to compare the U.S. and Israeli Supreme Courts and judicial selection process.

We ended the show with a discussion of the domestication of Israel’s right wing newspapers during the one-year lifespan of the government and how it has impacted the life of one specific columnist…
