Kevin O’Keefe, the former US Marine and current Hamas terrorist has been the Turkish-Hamas propaganda poster boy of the week. In media interviews, O’Keefe, who was on the Mavi Marmara, appeared with a bloody face and told his interviewers how he singlehandedly beat down the Israeli naval commandos who boarded the ship to enforce Israel’s lawful blockade of the Gaza coast.

As a follow up to Latma’s international hit We Con the World, which has already been viewed more than 3 million times on youtube, Latma decided to interview O’Keefe on our weekly show the Tribal Update.

Below you have both the O’Keefe interview as a stand alone clip and this week’s entire Tribal Update for your viewing pleasure.

Please post and distribute far and wide.

The Tribal Update

O’Keefe stand alone.

Hi perhaps you can help me, I have only been reading your blog for a few week now. The clips that you show are they broadcast as part of a TV show or are the stand alone internet/ you tube only.
PS most of the English speaking world thinks football not soccer.

This guy and all the other pro-terrorists morons
on the ship are really cowards and left-wing weaklings always looking to bash successful and moral countries like Israel. The only problems the arabs in Gaza have are with the terrorist/racist regime of hamass.
I also think the people on these boats are all latent anti-semites period. Any excuse in the would to bash Israel, they go along with. May they all get what they deserve !!!

Caroline, you and the Latma team have absolutely outdone yourselves. Marvelous. I will surely do my bit to spread this around. Thank you and G-d bless. Shabbat shalom.

I love you all so much. You are all so funny. My heart breaks for Israel and all the bashing it gets from the media but watching your program fills me with joy and laughter. Your program helps us win in other ways by getting the real truth out to everyday people like me.
    Shalom, Keren

    Dear Caroline,
While these skits may be amusing to those who are friendly to Israel, they don’t play well to the rest of the world. Israel has a very serious problem in that it is losing the PR war. All the effort that is being expended on these skits could be much better served by a professionally produced documentary which clearly spells out the efforts that Israel has made toward real peace and the hostile actions that have been the response from the people who run the Gaza strip.

Bravo, Caroline, bravo Latma! If only Saturday Night Live and Comedy Central could get back to the roots of genuine satire, which isn’t laughter for its own sake, but the ridicule of human follies and abuses, particularly in the current political environment, which would be laughable if it weren’t so tragic. Sometimes the reductio ad absurdum is the only way to get at the truth. Hats off to your troupe — and thanks from America!

Bravo, Latma, looking forward to see We Con the World up running again. Humor is a great assett, always was. Laugh them out, the hypocrits!

For anyone who thinks satire is NOT appropriate, remember this motto from the editorial cartoonist Jeff Danziger: “The world is too serious not to laugh at it.”
