In Episode 23 of the Caroline Glick Mideast News Hour I was joined by my colleague Dr. David Wurmser from the Center for Security Policy. David served in senior positions in both the Bush and Trump administrations. We discussed the current and past implications of Israel’s strategic dependence on the U.S., particularly in light of the Biden administration’s decision to do nothing to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power and its hostility towards Israel generally. David wrote an important article about the history of U.S. military aid to Israel which I am linking at the end of this entry.

We then switched gears and discussed the implications of Israel Diaspora Affairs Minister Nachman Shai’s decision to participate in a Zoom conference hosted by Peter Beinart, the most prominent American Jewish figleaf for progressive anti-Semites around. David wrote an important piece on the philosophical roots of Beinart’s anti-Semitism last year after Beinart published and op-ed in the New York Times making the case for the destruction of the Jewish state. The link to that article is also at the bottom of this entry.

It was a riveting discussion. You can watch it on YouTube here.
