Caroline you were great, you don’t back down. I like that.
But now I have a sudden urge to shave my beard and dye my gray hair because I would never want to be confused with Herr Baskin.
What did disturb me was one of the hosts of the show, she was more concerned about challenging you for your truthful answers then she was Baskin for his blatent lies and distortions.
I would say it is a sad day for Israel when a non-Jewish American knows more about the history of Israel than the Israelis in your own media.

I wanted to watch you Caroline factually, rhetorically, and logically shred Gerson Baskin
to pieces as you successfully did the last time you two met and debated.
I wanted to watch by in the end I remembered from your previous encounter that Mr. Baskin doesn’t deal with pesky things like facts or logic, and the only rhetoric he is familiar with is to simply state that you are wrong.
Mr. Baskin knows what he believes or believes that he knows something, I am not sure which, but problem is that you two do not have a common frame of reference. Mr. Baskin lives in a fantasy world, the mythical one created by the Palestinian narrative where the Palestinians have no responsibility or power, they are the eternal pitiful victim and of course the Israeli Jews are the source of all evil.
The world of reality, where you reside, realizes that the Palestinians will accept only one settlement, and one state. That settlement is the destruction of the State of Israel and the genocide of our Jewish citizens, and the only state the Palestinians will accept is a Palestinian one.
Thus for me, to watch Gerson Baskin simply deny reality while you try to pin him down is just too painful for me to watch. I congratulate you Caroline on your courage and your patience for debating the guy, I wouldn’t even try because some battles you just can’t win.

As it is in the U.S. the left have suicidal tendencies and embrace their destroyers.
It gives new understanding to the word ‘damned’
For some strange reason Ms Baskin reminds me of Barney Frank. Are they related ?

Gershon Baskin is disconnected from reality like a lot of others in the West. I hope he is a tiny minority in Israel. You can debate him for a hundred years, it won’t make any difference.

    Hi Caroline,
Its always great to see you with your dukes up! I really appreciate your work and think it has a direct relationship to the future situation of Jews here in America, as well as in Israel.
As you well know, we have many mouth-breathing idiots, like this fool you debated, here as well. Unfortunately they include the present administration and many of the 78% of American Jews that voted for them. They not only want the Muslims to love us, they want all the world’s savages to clasp their hands in mutual respect for us, the obvious, exceptional good guys.
Today marks another D-Day anniversary. I will never quite understand what happened to the American grit, and clear-eyed understanding of the necessity to defeat evil that animated the country until the Vietnam years. What do our enemies have to do to us to stop this mewling and begging and pleading for forgiveness from barbarians that intend only to kill us all? I think we’ll have to sit tight and find out.
As I see it, the Obama plan for sucking up to the Arabs and Persians will quickly bring another mass casualty attack on the U.S. If even a tiny bit of what the talking heads are saying about the terrorists being concerned that they are losing the love contest in the Muslim world to Obama is correct, the only thing they can do to push us off the love train is to hit us hard and make us mad again.
Little do they know! If D.C. survives the next hit, they’ll probably just double down on the begging, disband the Army and eat the plutonium!
Then, of course, they’ll blame the Jews!
Good luck and keep up the good work!
    Josh

Gershon Baskin needs to take an aerial tour of Judea and Samaria to see how little strategic depth Israel would have, if it abandoned that territory.

What a loathesome, disgusting self hating Jew. Baskin needs to stop the natural growth in his waistline. He does something that is difficult, looking fat sitting next to a woman deep into pregnancy. Caroline is a precious treasure of the Jewish people. May she live for a hundred twenty years and may her children be healthy and inherit an Israel that is strong and secure.

Caroline, you among other “right wingers” find yourself in a bind to answer settlement questions, 2 state questions, etc.. The reason is simple, the moment you give in partially to the insanity of a 2 state solution and let’s not deny it due to ‘political niceties’ then it gets progressively harder to explain ones position.
Clearly, the answer is absolutely no Arab state in our Jewish homeland. Even if they were the kindest and most gentle people. And Thank God they are not as we would have handed over our promised heritage without permission and against the will of the one who created it and gave it to whom he chose. Yes you got it, we cannot seperate Judaism (religion in most eyes but not accurate) to ‘Politics’ for Politics are symantics for the one really pulling all the strings.
Unfortunately, one who lacks Judaism, then has fear to state it and hence eventually crumbles to pressure.

Missed you recently, Caroline, so I went on surfing and found your site. Interesting debate with the hindsight of an August perspective.
Let us hope that the Israeli people share your conviction about the 12ers of Iran. Indeed, they seek chaos and calamity for the world to promote their agenda…no reason prevails in their world of death. Our hopes of peace in the world is not shared by them.
Obama is lost in “la la land”. His agenda may or may not be the same as the 12ers; however, his actions beg the question: if his methods facilitates the 12ers, what does it matter if they differ in name?
Take care Israel, back your leaders, watch your borders and do not allow yourselves to be subverted by the desire for peace.
    Jacob
