In Ep. 89 of the Caroline Glick Show, two things happened. First in my opening (first 17 minutes), I gave the skinny on Justice Minister Yariv Levin’s judicial reform package. If you want to understand what is going on politically, and what is on the table legislatively, I suggest you watch. I hope to put it out as a separate clip later this week.
The last 45 minutes of the show, I spoke with writer Karol Markowicz who wrote a must-read article about “The New Jew” rising up in America. These are Jews are sick and tired of being victims and justifying who they are to anti-Semites. These are Jews who may or may not be Orthodox. But if they aren’t, they don’t have a religious home because Reform and Conservative Judaism has abandoned them. They may or may not have guns, but they like guns for Jews. And many, many of them are leaving their progressive neighborhoods and communities for sunnier pastures in Florida and Texas and Tennessee.
Karol and I discussed the new Jews, what Israel can do for them and the challenge they posed to the failed American organizational leadership.
