On November 9, Maj. Moshe Yedidya Leiter, a commander in the IDF’s special forces was killed in Gaza along with three of his men when they discovered an opening to a Hamas tunnel that was booby-trapped. My guest this week was my old friend, colleague, political commentator and Moshe’s father Yechiel Leiter.
Yechiel discussed his son’s life, and his loss and he placed both in the context of the larger war for Israel’s survival and the role of the Jewish state as the first line in the war for human freedom.
