Yesterday I filmed the first segment of a new show on Pajamas Media web TV. The show is called The Middle East Report and it will be filmed every week.

Before you check it out, I feel it necessary to warn you that I am new to this TV stuff. I managed to do my makeup all wrong and wear the wrong color. As a result, I look like a plaster ghost.

I promise to plan better next time.

The show this week is free. In general though, PJTV is a subscription based endeavor. I encourage you to check out the site. There's a lot of great programming coming out. If you like what you see, maybe buy yourself a Chanukah or Christmas present and take out a subscription.

Best wishes to all my readers for the holidays.

Caroline

Good luck on the program. It will be a step up from the Jerusalem Post which has now become fit for use at the bottom of bird cages.
It’s become just another mouthpiece of the globalist elite. It’s a wonder they allow your articles to remain there more than a day ?
On a brighter note I have finally found a solution for Israel’s problem in just one easy step.
The idiots who rule Israel have gone out of their way to release Islamic terrorists while Shalit remains imprisoned in Gaza and they have decided to go to war against the settlers instead of Hamas,Natanyahu included.
The only way for Israel to regain it’s national pride is for Israel’s leaders to commit suicide enmasse starting with Olmert,Barak,Livni and the fraud lap dog of Washington Netanyahu.
Only then will Israel have a chance to survive the peace that has been thrust upon the nation since 1993 and regain not only national pride but sanity.

    Caroline
I read your stuff all of the time. I think you are great!
I watched the PJMedia interview. You did seem a bit nervous, that will change as you get used to it, but I don’t think you looked as bad as you say. I think you looked quite good. This is a great way to get more exposure to what you write and your job with the organization in DC. I give you a big thumbs up.
Thanks for “telling it like it is” so eloquently.

Happy Holidays to you too, Caroline. You’re my favorite columnist, which is probably due to you being a Chicagoian too. 🙂

The show was a disappointment, mostly because the interviewer was unprepared, inarticulate, and wasted time on low-value background questions that could have been avoided by posting your bio on the site. A better format might be dialogue with another expert (Michael Ledeen comes to mind), or an interview setting in which you ask questions of notable guests. But perhaps you have little control over these matters.

No need to explain. The fact that you felt compelled to write this blog post attests to your commitment to providing excellent commentary. I am looking forward to the weekly show the same way I look forward to your print commentary.
You will do quite well, as you normally do.

I thought you looked good and did great. Not so the interviewer, who appeared not to be listening to your answers.

Dear Caroline, I didn’t get to see your first go at the Middle East Report until today and thought it was quite good. You must please keep in mind that on your worst day, you are much better than the vast majority of whats out there. You are a woman of true substance and I appreciate your articles. Your television career will be excellent as well. Best wishes and be safe.

I have always been impressed by your ability to see things clearly and “connect all dots” in politics, by your strategic thinking and your love for the Jewish People. You are so right in your analyses every time. I am so concerned now that I even wish that you being wrong in your predictions this time. Your show was good! Best wishes to you for the new 2009 year and be safe. Yeshuya, USA

That was the most lucid description of the “big picture” in the Mid-East that I have seen. Thank you very much!

Thanks for sending me to Pajamas Media. I watched your January 20th appearance and Faster, Please: Michael Yon. Good to see we have voices that are giving the real story on regional issues in the Middle East and especially in Israel. You didn’t look like a “plaster ghost” and your commentary is very much needed in video format so keep up the good work…
