This week’s “Caroline Glick Show” was filmed as opposition lawmakers rioted inside the Knesset and tens of thousands of leftists demonstrated outside it.
On Sunday night, Israeli President Isaac Herzog gave a primetime address in which he pleaded for the leaders of the government and opposition to sit down and reach a compromise regarding Justice Minister Yariv Levin’s judicial reform plan. Levin and Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee Chairman Simcha Rothman agreed to sit down after the judicial reform bills pass their first Knesset reading.
The left, on the other hand, went berserk; Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai said on Monday morning that “dictatorships only return to democracy when blood is shed.”

(February 14, 2023 / JNS) This week’s “Caroline Glick Show” was filmed as opposition lawmakers rioted inside the Knesset and tens of thousands of leftists demonstrated outside it.
In my opening remarks, I explained that the basic problem in Israel isn’t the right’s refusal to compromise, but the left’s refusal to accept the results of the election and the legitimacy of their political opponents. This isn’t only true in the case of legal reform.
My guest this week was attorney Roni Sassover, who founded and leads Meirim: Education is Tradition lobby, that seeks to push back against woke, anti-Jewish and anti-family, pro-transgender indoctrination of Israeli school children through the public education system.
Sassover discovered how the radical anti-Jewish left had infiltrated the school system through the sudden transformation of preschool curriculum when she sent her kids to kindergarten. Under the Bennett-Lapid government, the government massively expanded the process of expunging Judaism from schools and replacing it with woke, critical race theory, and anti-Jewish indoctrination.
Aside from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself, the most demonized man in Israel today is MK Avi Maoz, Sassover said. Maoz ran on a platform of exposing the way that foreign governments and foundations are funding the indoctrination of Israeli children through the school system. The left’s hysterical response to Maoz shares key similarities with its riots and calls for civil war in opposition to the government’s judicial reform program, she adds.
In both cases, in the service of anti-Israeli agenda, a tiny, radicalized minority is using propaganda, outside pressure and general hysteria to force their objectives on a large majority of Israelis.
Sassover detailed the way that foreign governments—including that of the United States—are funding indoctrination in Israeli schools directed against the traditional family, against Judaism and the Jewish character of the State of Israel.
