Following the publication of the Goldstone report in which the UN commission led by South African jurist Richard Goldstone accused Israel of crimes against humanity, “Goldstone” visited Latma’s studios for an interview.

For your viewing pleasure, we have translated the interview — given in Hebrew and linked it below.

I ran across one of those latma videos on NationalReview.com and laughed my head off. I went to the site but unfortunately can’t read Hebrew.
I really hope there will be more English-subtitled videos down the road.

Caroline, There’s hope yet. The Times (London), that usually has an anti-Israel spin, blasted Goldstone and his report. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article6879387.ece
One of the commenters argued it was all irrelevant because the only relevant issue was the illegality of Israel’s land settlements on theWest Bank. To that, I offered the following comment:
Mackie is mistaken when he says Israel’s settling on lands in Judea, etc. is illegal and “international law is quite unequivocal about its illegality”. The acclaimed international lawyer, Julius Stone, opined that sovereignty over the West Bank is disputed and Israel has a far better claim. Based on his opinion the US reversed Jimmy Carter’s view on illegality but took the view that settlements impeded the peace process. His opinion is reproduced on the internet.
